Who are we?

SULTAN CHARITABLE TRUST is a non-profit charitable   trust established for the welfare and development of the Muslim community.   The Trust is registered under the Indian Trust Act, 1882, and functions with   a clear commitment to Islamic values, social responsibility, transparency,   and service to humanity. The primary objective of the Trust is to address the   religious, educational, social, and economic challenges faced by poor, needy,   and marginalized Muslims and to support them with dignity and respect.

The Trust was founded by Shaik Sultan Chakravarthi,   Founder & Managing Trustee, a committed social worker who has been   actively involved in charitable and community service activities for many   years. Even before the formal registration of the Trust, he was personally   engaged in helping poor Muslim families by providing financial assistance,   food support, educational help to students, medical assistance to the sick,   and emergency support during funerals and crises. He has consistently   supported mosques and madrasas by contributing towards their maintenance,   religious activities, and by personally assisting Imams, Muazzins, and mosque   staff. His dedication to serving the Muslim community at the grassroots level   inspired the creation of SULTAN CHARITABLE TRUST as an organized institution   to carry out charitable work in a more structured, accountable, and long-term   manner.

Under the leadership of Shaik Sultan Chakravarthi,   the Trust undertakes a wide range of religious and charitable activities. One   of the key areas of work is the management, maintenance, and development of   mosques and madrasas. The Trust ensures the payment of salaries and   honorariums to Imams, Muazzins, Khateebs, and other mosque staff so that   religious services are conducted smoothly and without interruption. It   actively supports madrasas, Quran learning centers, Hifz institutions, and   Islamic education initiatives, including the provision of food donations,   learning materials, uniforms, and basic necessities for madrasa students from   poor Muslim families.

SULTAN CHARITABLE TRUST works extensively for the   educational upliftment of Muslim students by providing scholarships,   financial assistance, guidance, and support for school, college, technical,   and religious education. The Trust gives special importance to the welfare of   orphans, widows, elderly Muslims, and destitute families by offering food   assistance, financial support, healthcare help, counseling, and   rehabilitation services.

The Trust is also involved in healthcare and   humanitarian services, including medical camps, health awareness programs,   sanitation initiatives, burial and funeral support services, and immediate   relief during natural disasters, accidents, and emergency situations   affecting Muslim communities. Zakat, Sadaqah, and other charitable funds are   collected and distributed responsibly to ensure that assistance reaches the   most deserving beneficiaries.

Women empowerment and youth development are   important focus areas of the organization. The Trust promotes skill   development, vocational training, interest-free financial assistance, and   livelihood support programs to help Muslim women and youth become self-reliant.   Community welfare activities such as Ramadan Iftar programs, food kit   distribution, Eid assistance, Qurbani meat distribution, and moral and   religious education programs are conducted regularly to support poor Muslim   families.

SULTAN CHARITABLE TRUST continues to grow as a   trusted charitable organization working for the Muslim community with   sincerity and dedication. Through the collective efforts of its Founder,   Trustees, staff, volunteers, and supporters, the Trust aims to strengthen   Islamic institutions, improve living conditions for poor and needy Muslims,   and contribute to the overall social and moral well-being of society.
